SUMMARY AND NEW IDEAS!

WELCOME TO EMPTYHEADS!

It is the philosophy of this club that empty ness made by the numb and negative part of our art (sometimes left on purpose) is meant to be filled with ideas. Which flow upon the paper like the mediums we choose.
Empty heads is about collaboration. Getting to know your fellow surrealists and observe their style and nature of their art.
We hope that by collaborating we can build a tightly knit community of surrealists who will continue to collaborate with each other inspire each other and support one another artistically.

WAYS OF THE GAME

The original recipe:

One artist creates a head...Or possibly a foreground, which then passed (digitally or snail mail) to another deviant to create a body for the being or surreal object or background.
The original said something about humorous but since the nature of the artwork created resulted in mixed results of mood. I will not require it.

Three musketeer’s version:

One person does a head (foreground) one person does a background and one person provides details/manipulation/colors.

Not so sure on this one.
Or. You can dived a single "canvas" into three sections evenly and create a multi-person exquisite corpse or work freely over the sections to create a montage of style.

Four people:

One person chooses a corner and works on it. Another person chooses an opposing corner and works on it ECT. So the piece blends but is made up of four evenly distributed sections.

All four work on a variety of details on the piece.

Or four people do minimal drawing as not to crowd the drawing each person does an automatic drawing based on paranoid-critical theory. Where they draw what they see with little intervention, working with and into the pieces that the others drew.
With each person the canvas is rotated. So instead of working off of sections they work on the whole canvas but a different perspective. Much like how my own four ways are created.
This would cause the most skill in making sure everyone used the same medium but also provide some serious collaboration eyes.

How to become a member?

simple steps:

Step 1.) you must be a constant and active creator of surrealist(or in some cases occassional) works. Fantasy and macabre works will not be accepted unless they fit the eyes of the moderators.

After taking up a moderator position I have done some cleaning house.

And there may be a few rule changes. I will take this up with the high priest as well. But I'm sure he'll understand. If members are having a tough time collabin' let me know! Don't be shy! This way I will know who is available and who is not.
If you have a "head" Or "body" That you're unsure of finding a match for I may create a space on the journal annually specifically for people to collab with you.
I discourage this but it's an idea. A hand to the shy if you will.

1.) Collaborators should note the club if a collaboration is to be made...The names of the collaborators will be posted here in our journal at the collaborations section so that the public will know that our excibits here in our gallery is not plagiarized..

2.)Collaborations bassically consists of two parties...One collaborator assumes the role of the "Face Maker"...The other collaborator takes the place of "Body Donor".....the Face maker will supply the face (which should be a humorously made face, in a surreal context)...the Body donor provides the "Body and Background" of the collaboration(The body should be obviously humorous also,in a surreal context)...

collaborators must decide which among them will send the collab parts to be edited and submitted...

AMENDMENTS:

As for the sake of creativity, Ive decided to widen the scope of our collaborative efforts...Instead of just limiting collaborations between two people, I now open the club for more than two collaborations!!! that means that either three of more collaborators may collaborate in one piece of art, either a single one do the body or heads, or whatever your imaginations set your minds into...just be sure to assign which onbe did which part!!! If you have any questions note me...
3.)Collaborators must note the club regarding with who will assume the roles in the aforementioned rule above...This will be listed in the journal...

4.) Collaborations will be submitted to the club as soon as they are finished...The gallery section will include in the Description area the participating collaborators so that the public will see both the artists who did the collab, and the credits go to them, not ours!!!

5.)Collaborations could be made in any traditional medium, photography,digital art, fractal,etc...but these must be original works, not stolen from an existing image...we will turn away any collaborations that we find plagiarized or containing images from an unauthorized source...The Headhunters and the high priest will then decide if you pass their eyes and your works will be displayed in our gallery!!!...


And Dont forget, "Emptiness are made to be filled"!!!!

SUBMISSIONS:

As soon as the collaborative piece is finished, collaborators must both submit their piece in both their galleries...they should include which pieces are done by whom..e.g. "blah blah did the head, nye nye did the body"...so that the viewers will know who did what part of the collab piece...

A finished collaboration should be sent by any of the two participating artists via notes, with the subject line "Finished Head"...Include the link of the collaboration in your note.

The posted piece on our gallery will be provided on the description are with the links to the pieces by the collaborating parties...

We will reply to you as soon as we post your collaboration in our gallery!!!


AMMENDMENTS:

Works entirely dedicated to thew EmptyHeads community, that embodies the aim of our club will be accepted!!Any medium is allowed. Just be sure to put our Icons as a dedication to our club!!!
